== Installation Principles == | |||
* The front straps grab the top left and right engine mount. The cowling needs a small cutout to let the strap get to the engine mount. | |||
* The rear straps go through two holes in the tailcone top just aft of the luggage compartment and attach to floor brackets inside the plane that are bolted to a plate that sits outside underneath the hull (this outside plate blocks antenna installation in the area). The holes in the roof are reinforced with brackets that attach to the bulkhead. Those brackets block a potential opening in the upper section of the bulkhead which you need to feed air to the Aerosport overhead console. The South Florida Sport Aviation overhead console comes down below the bulkhead for its feed and does not need a workaround. | |||
* The installation requires a cut-out of the lower half of the right luggage compartment side skins. This involves removing the lower longeron which gets replaced with an angle that gets riveted below the cutout. The side skin cut-out gets covered from the outside with a fiberglass sheet that has been weakened to break when the rocket fires. | |||
