Hints

If you are receiving a QB fuse, you will not be able to drop the fuselage onto this cradle if Vans put the bottom wing spar bolts in with the threads pointing forward. You need to put them in the other way beforehand. Make sure you add the plastic "washers" and plastic bolt sleeve back in to protect the spar.

Modifications

One important modification of the cradle build instructions is to make the rear bar removable to allow riveting the tailcone to the fuselage. Use a SIMPSON STRONG-TIE 1-13/16" x 5" 22 Gauge Nail Plate on both sides to hold the rear carpet covered bar.
