Update Feb 2, 2023
The revised Service Bulletin (Rev 1) asks builders who received the first batch of improved hinge brackets to not use them and wait for the second revision of the fix. This does not touch RV-10 owners as there isn't yet a fix available and doesn't seem to be necessary either as no cracks have been found on RV-10s.

No RV-10 with cracks in the rear horizontal stabilizer spar yet found (near the outer elevator hinges, on the non-visible inner side).
An improved hinge bracket for the RV-10 is not available yet, but Vans is working on it.
If you already built your horizontal stabilizer, inspect the spar annually using a borescope.
If you are about to close out the horizontal stabilizer, consider waiting until the improved hinge bracket is available.
