• Door hinge shim dxf file
  
  After match drilling the door hinges, it's quite possible that the doors are sitting too low in the frame on the upper edge. By making shims of different thicknesses, e.g. 0.020, 0.040, and .063, the door can be made flush in the top section. Note: the holes in the hinges that ship with the kit don't have very precise positions, so an additional match drill step from the hinge to the shim is required.

  If the wall thickness of your door in the lock area is too thin (particularly present if you used clecos in the lock area to hold the halves together during bonding), you will need a shim to make the cover sit down on the outside.
