* Before picking an airport, you need to talk to the FAA or your local EAA chapter to find out from which airports first flights are permitted. Most likely, only airports with sparsely populated area around it are candidates. Avoid assembling your airplane at the wrong airport only have to take it apart and truck it somewhere else for the first flight.
